About Ogden
Ogden is a farming community with a population of 2,000 residents. The town was first laid out by the railroad in 1866. Ogden's Main Street is located on the original route of the Lincoln Highway. This famous highway still spans the continent from New York City to San Francisco.
Ogden has many good things to offer: affordable housing, the security of a small town, a vital business district, major transportation routes (U.S. Highways 30 & 169, as well as the Union Pacific Railroad), municipal utility services, locally-owned telephone company, strong values, a committment to quality education, and a connection to agricultural, railroad and coal mining heritage.
